Arts Library

The Arts Library is located in the Literary Lounge on the second floor and is open to the public during normal opening hours. Boasting an impressive collection of nearly 2,000 titles, the shelves are filled with books and periodicals that cater to every creative interest from ancient art forms to contemporary masterpieces.

Arts Library Highlight

Visitors are encouraged to explore a special collection of works by Shell Point residents – which includes approximately 50 publications penned by our exceptionally talented and artistic friends in the community.

The Great Artists Series

These popular volunteer-led events have outgrown their original space and are now held in Connie Brown Hall. Sessions are typically held during high season on the third Sunday of the month at 1:30 pm. Art enthusiasts are invited to enjoy enlightening presentations or videos that delve into various masterworks.

Exclusive Borrowing for Residents

Shell Point residents may borrow books by completing a simple check-out form. They are welcome to enjoy their loan for up to two weeks before returning it to our drop-off box.

Community-Powered

A dedicated volunteer team manages Tribby’s Arts Library. They organize titles, process returns, and are typically available for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon to help visitors. New volunteers are always welcome to help us nurture a vibrant social space for connection and inspire a deeper appreciation for creativity, culture, and the arts.
